Transforming your new house into a cozy home is as easy as 1-2-3: define your style, set your budget, and choose a bundle of carefully selected and seamlessly matched decorative items within your budget. Enjoy the beauty and comfort of your newly decorated space, where every element harmoniously comes together to embody your desired 'look and feel'!
Problem
When young individuals move into their new homes, they encounter various challenges: a restricted budget, a clear vision for the desired look and feel, yet difficulty in selecting decor items that seamlessly match within their financial constraints and chosen style. Additionally, they prefer not to invest excessive time in the home decorating process.
Goal
The objective of this project is to create a user-friendly and intuitive website for the 'House2Home' brand, designed to assist young individuals in effortlessly and swiftly decorating their homes within restricted budget, while capturing their desired look and feel.
Solution
Addressing users' pain points, I've designed a home decor website that effortlessly elevates homes with thoughtfully essembled decorative items, employing a bundled approach for ease. It ensures adherence to budget constraints while achieving the desired look and feel.

Key Improvements:
Based on usability tests, improvements have been implemented, prioritizing issues such as the addition of a 'Shop' action in the main menu for easy initiation of new searches, a unified and intuitively improved 'Favorites' option for saving individual items or entire bundles to Lists, an enhanced user experience in the 'View in Room' option, and minor refinements to icons, texts, links, and buttons throughout the platform for a more seamless and user-friendly interaction.

Day 6: Making Improvements
Improvement 1: Main menu
'Shop' function added to the Main menu, so a user can start a new search any time seamlessly.​

Improvement 2: Page with Assembled Bundles
'View in Room' moved on top of the bundle to the name and description area, to make it more noticeable.

Improvement 3: Bundles Comparison Page
Menu choices on the left side are not needed at this stage, and it was swaped with the 3rd bundle for comparison.

Conclusion
In summary, user research has confirmed the positive reception of the bundle approach, emphasizing its simplicity, budget-friendly focus, and effectiveness in rapidly and effortlessly achieving the desired look and feel for an apartment. This is achieved through the seamlessly assembled decorative items, creating a harmonious atmosphere and making an impressive impact on the space, even with a modest budget.
